don't kid anyone - in attacks like the were the police could actually be at risk they may be minutes away, but it will be hours before they intervene - after all they don't want to get hurt. They'd rather wait until all hostages are dead and dying before they make their move. After all what's more important citizens lives or the precious police?
And then they sit around outside for half an hour while hostages inside are being executed. It happened in Paris, It happened in Columbine
