If I recall correctly, I don’t believe Rush was asked about Rubio...
He wasn’t asked about Rubio, I imagine because Fox didn’t want a repeat of the criticisms that Rush has had for some of Rubio’s positions.

The media has been working that way for years.
I have always suspected so. It was absolutely a grand endorsement. He was ambivalent about Trump crediting him for showing GOP does NOT have to be afraid of and pander to the media. Very kind to Carson, finally saying Carson versus Hillary or other dems, yeah he would vote for him and he could not be less qualified than the dems.
Surprised not asked about the rube. Wallace is also obviously the one who asked the show be taped so he would not get a gazillion emails about him interrupting Rush, lol. Rush looked really good, healthy.
Rush has criticized Rubio on some of his positions and hit him late last week for Rubio’s criticism of Cruz for supporting the USA Freedom Act. I think Fox was trying not to give Rush an opportunity to criticize Rubio.

Yes, I was surprised by the omission of Rubio from the Rush “Lightning Round”...as Rubio was the showcased candidate, my guess is that Chrissy and FNS edited out any Rush critique of Rubio...will be interesting to hear Rush’ take on Monday!
With Rush, it’s about conservatism. He was asked about a month ago about who the real conservatives in the race are and he gave Cruz’ name. It should be no surprise he gave Cruz a stronger shout out, Trump is not a conservative.
I’ve been on the Trump train for the last four months. Got off in the past week and am now going with Cruz.
Cruz will do just fine on immigration and at the end of the day so many of our laws hang on a 5-4 Supreme Court majority. I do not trust Trump to appoint someone we can guarantee will be a conservative. I do not think Cruz would let us down.

Trump has been saying that for years. There have been many, many people saying that for years, including Limbaugh, Levin, Hannity, Savage, Senator Sessions, Numbers USA, etc. I don’t know how you could have missed it.
I imagine Cruz with his brilliance and his oratorical skills standing behind the bully pulpit of the White House and I think he could move Congress like no other president has in a long time. And the American people.
Jeez, FoxNews Channel takes the cake. At the very beginning of the 6PM (Eastern) showing of Fox News Sunday, they had broken away for “urgent” news from Brussels. However, they broke from that Brussels coverage with the statement “we’re now going back to Fox News Sunday for an important interview with Marco Rubio” and they did go back in the nick of time to have their Marco Rubio promotion softball interview aired.
Later in the program they started the interview with Rush. Just when they got to the point where Rush was going to say nice things about Ted Cruz they suddenly cut away and went back to Brussels, where there was absolutely ZERO new information. After the few minutes where Rush’s praise of Ted Cruz would have aired had passed, they went back to Fox News Sunday. If anyone thinks this was not deliberate, I’ve got a bridge to sell you.

Not only was there no new information, the news gal was floundering around trying to think of something to say. It was just so obvious! ! I said to myself that Rush must be getting ready to talk about Cruz!!
