I vote with your plan. We need to make them fear us. From what I have read crucifixion is a hideous way to die. Long, painful agony. An added plus is to incorporate pig blood-fat-entrails in the process. Oh oh I know, wrap pig entrails around their necks while they hang there. This death cult was death so badly, give it too them. I kinda like the “black hole of Calcutta” approach... a deep pit with unscalable walls and no airflow... throw them in and suffocate while eating the dead..
