Can’t speak for FDNY, but fire service culture is more the same than different, department to department...
So I suspect they will do what our crews did when the FD admin handed us an unqualified noob, and three would just do the work of four...In every job there are worthless individuals taking up space and standing idle while others carry the load for them...Poseurs...Nobody likes it, but there it is...
No amount of negative fitness reports or write ups will change anything that’s politically/racially motivated and the seasoned firefighters know that...So...They’ll just s&%t around it...
