Is this the same larda$$ that couldn’t even run 1.5 miles in 12 minutes?
How’s that AA working there for you?
Who cares.
Everyone FEELS good and afterall, it's only your money.
Look how many people are happy and satisfied, eh?
You done won the internets. Lol!
From the NY Post this past July:
Choeurlyne Doirin-Holder, 39 â one of four women among 320 current probies in training â failed midway through a Fire Academy class in 2013, and returned to her former job as an EMT.
After entering another class in early 2014, she dropped out because of an injury. But the FDNY kept Doirin-Holder on payroll.
She made $81,376, including overtime, last year â about $26,000 more than the $55,144 she made as an EMT in 2013, records show. Most probies get starting firefighter pay of $39,370.
The FDNY did not assign Doirin-Holder to two subsequent academy classes. She worked desk jobs first at headquarters, then on Randalls Island.
âShe was qualified as an EMT. She should have been serving the public while waiting for the next probie class, but was paid as a full-time firefighter to do office work and train on the payroll,â a high-ranking source said.
A year ago, a classmate called Doirin-Holder âthe most pathetic specimen of physical fitness Iâve ever seen,â saying she failed to run a required 1.5 miles in 12 minutes, stopping to walk, and got winded walking up stairs.
Doirin-Holder gets top firefighter pay, a base $76,488 after five years, because she is one of 282 âpriority hiresâ who Brooklyn federal Judge Nicholas Garaufis ordered must get preference.
Two other female priority hires in Doirin-Holderâs first academy class, now ages 41 and 44, did well, sources said. They passed the Functional Skills Test, or FST, a tough obstacle course of tasks such as climbing six flights of stairs in full gear and dragging dummies.
Doirin-Holder declined to comment, referring questions to the FDNY.
âWe donât discuss individuals or individual cases while in the academy,â said spokesman Jim Long.
â¹Doirin-Holder now stands to benefit from the FDNYâs newly watered-down standards, critics said.
Hubby is a retired firefighter. 33 years on the job. Back when they started the push for female firefighters our county hired a whole bunch of them. Within 3 years all but 2 were off on medical leave. They just couldn’t do the job. The 2 that remained actually stayed til they recently retired. One kissed enough ass that she worked her way up to Batt Chief real quick so she didn’t have to actually do the job. The other one was a great firefighter and just retired as Captain of her station for many years.
*SPIT*
That’s why she joined.
Just like Kerry served in Vietnam for one purpose: to get three scratches and three Purple Hearts and to come back and fight America, the military and the Vietnam war “as a veteran.”
Joining the service was not to serve but to promote oneself.
Some need a big fat arse a-hoisted.
Ultrasound revealed a gestating lasagna about 8 months along.
I'm pretty sure I could do that, and I'm 63, have asthma, and Morton's Neuromas in both feet.
But fat and stupid is good enough for a job that requires a very high level of fitness, at least in a world that caters to delicate snowflakes.
I can too at 38 & with asthma as you have. You being 63 means you’re literally in the top 5% of your age group.
There certainly was no surprise to find a female involved. After failing her physical, 10 days into the job- injured? The little flower petal plucked. Why was this her life vocation? Our foolish government!
That’s a man, Baby. (Austin Powers)
OH YEAH Well, I'm older than you and you should see the rash on my..........never mind.
And a participation trophy....
Just think how self-inflicted casualties will affect overall unit performance on a battlefield. A useful tactic- inflicting injuries-in an opposing military.
Unattractive cow with a &%$#-faced “I’m entitled” sneer. And that awful Ebonics “Choeurlyne” name as well. Ugh, what a terrible person.
