Former Florida governor is spending more than twice as much as any other candidate, according to new data With a full year left until the 2016 presidential election it's still unclear who will emerge the winner. But when it comes to millions spent on TV ads, one candidate has already taken the top spot: Jeb Bush.
However, other than some gift baskets from local stations in Iowa and New Hampshire, the former Florida governor has little to show for it, with poll numbers stubbornly stuck in the single digits.
Bush and his supporters have so far spent an eye-popping $20 million in TV commercials during the 2016 presidential race - more than twice as much as any other candidate, according to ad-spending data from NBC partner SMG Delta. The bulk - $19.5 million - was spent by his Super PAC, Right to Rise.

The one boring commercial that I’ve seen(ad nauseum)has Yeb looks defensive and angry as usual.
And as he’s talking (about how we shouldn’t “yap”),,he looks like a turtle...
Do Jeb’s consultants/staff get paid a percentage of the TV buys? Isn’t Jeb’s campaign a repeat of McCain and Romney where the establishment consultants were more interested in themselves than in their candidate? With McCain and Romney they had to keep up in the polls to get the money. But apparently with Jeb he lacks the ability to manage them.
That is the one...where he moves his hand like a puppet when he says “yap”...lol!
His commercials just suck.
MSM will keep his name in the news until the GOPee money runs out.
TV and Radio stations kick back a 15% commission on the media buys to the Super Pacs.
Spend a million dollars, get $150,000 commission kickback.
Some products will just not sell, no matter how much advertising or fancy packaging goes into them.
