Whenever I see an American flag, I almost have the same reaction as when I see a Canadian flag.

Like a "Oh, I wonder why that's there" type of reaction. As if I'm in the wrong nation.

I feel the same way when we visit relatives in California. When I cross the border, I feel like I'm in enemy territory and when I see an American flag I'm always surprised, which isn't very often.
