Obviously you are not familiar how Trump operates. Try asking any one of his 100 managers of various Trump businesses. Trump is not a micro manager. He is a good judge of people and delegates. No one man can micro-manage $10 Billion business.

8 years of Trump then 8 years of Cruz. Let’s get our country back!

I have watched how he operates. According to Reagan rules he sucks to high heaven.

Ann would not be nearly as much fun. It’s not like a press secretary is a serious job.

I guess it is OK to denigrate Cruz, but nasty to "counter-punch".

You went first and people responded.

Three of those became president on the death or resignation of their predecessor. I'd rather Cruz did not get the White House under those circumstances. The fourth did not go from the vice-presidency to the presidency.

They all ran on their own and one. The one that did not go directly actually won except for fraud in Cook County, and the comeback proved it.

Truman, Ford, and Johnson do not count, as they reached office by the death or resignation of the president.

They all ran on their own and got elected so why do you think they would not have won if their president had lived out their term?

The VP has no legal role in steering legislation, nor in committee assignments.

They Preside but customarily take no active role, my question was has any VP every tried to assert authority as the President of the Senate. Or is their any Authority they could assert if they pushed the issue? Just curious I know the role historically.

I watched during the course of Clinton's trial while a fumbling supreme court justice let the Senate Parliamentarian dictate every action. What a joke that was.

You are not correct. Trump did not attack Perry, Graham, Jindal, Paul, Fiorina, Scott Walker, first. They ALL attacked Trump first. THEY ALL VIOLATED REAGAN’s 11th.

I am yo are smart enough to understand that.

Do you want a non-fighter for president? Trump counter attacked. Reagan never said to cower down into a corner when attacked.

You been predicting Trump’s demise as long as I can remember. For 5 months! Do you have a date in mind or you are just blowing hot air?

You went first and people responded. Balderdash!

Post Number three went first "Cruz would make a great Veep (and President of the Senate). That aside, Trump has the Presidency locked up. "

I replied "Trump would make a great TV personality. That said Cruz would make the best president. "

Every one who says Trump/Cruz I will say Cruz/Trump, but we both know there is no way that Trump would serve his country if he was not the center of attention.

Not yet. Cruz isn't ready just yet. In 8 years he will be ready. Just not now.

And Trump is ready, he has been a conservative for what, like 6 months? How long ago was supporting amnesty, homo-marriage, the Clinton foundation, Barrack Obama, and higher taxes? Trump knows the Constitution and how government works? Sure he knows who to dole out the cash to in order to buy some influence, but does he know how to end corruption or how to profit from it?

Maybe if Trump remains a conservative for the next 8 years he could be ready for office too. Until then, go with the guy who is not running away from his history, but running on his conservative record, go with Cruz.

The “ Trumpets “ are getting the respect, or the lack thereof that they do so justifiedly deserve for coming here on FR taking over and comendering the place like bullies.

The Ted Cruz supporters WILL push back when pushed and just as hard.

We are NOT going to idlely sit back and cower in the corner and let that happen.

Just a few months before Trump or even Ted Cruz entered the race there was scant talk about Donald Trump here.

LOL....the Cruzettes don’t even see the hypocrisy in their own posts.

Take a stroll through Trump threads and read the vitriol posted. Flat out lies, in most cases.

Guess what? Trump supporters aren’t going to ‘sit back in the corner and let that happen’ either.

Who cares what was happening here ‘a few months’ before Trump or Cruz entered the race? Trump entered and he has taken this election by storm. I think that’s what really is getting at the ‘Cruzettes’ craw.
