Romney won the independents but the base stayed home. We need the base to win and we need the evangelicals. Some of us can’t seem to learn that lesson, though.
Wishful thinking on Lowry’s part. Fact is Trump has been the frontrunner since June. Cruz may win Iowa. If Trump wins Iowa, it’s over.
Trump will win, so long a he stays in.
Cruz is poised to win if Trump drops out for any reason, and to be VP otherwise.
With the beating that Christians have taken in the past few years, the right candidate will have them beating down the doors of the polling stations before they open.
The ability to appoint supreme court justices first depends upon getting elected....
At least at this stage I don't think Cruz fits that portion of the equation. Now that
may change in a couple of months but time is rapidly closing the door. We'll
