I just simply, this sort of mythology, the guy with the gun that's going to come save the day, I mean, so right out of the movies, sort of this gun-slinging fantasy. The reality is, it's most likely to create more harm, more damage, more lost lives in those circumstances.
Really? So if you were in a restaurant and a crazy gunman came in, you wouldn't want to have a gun? You'd rather just be shot?
Well, I would hope that folks sitting next to me that haven't been trained, that don't necessarily, don't respond well under stressful circumstances, don't get up and then start pointing the trigger or pointing a gun and shooting-

I had a nanny who came from Portugal- she claimed to be an avid socialist (I think I fixed her of that) and was so afraid of guns she literally jumped in fear when she saw my hunting rifles.

That is well within my capability in any ordinary-sized restaurant. In a big venue like the Paris concert hall, I'd probably "go Mozambique" -- but slowed down for accuracy -- if I were at all covered...
I'd love to have Gavin Newsome on my range for an afternoon. I'd change his opinion of the threat-response capabilities of the white-headed septuagenerian seated at the next table...
Might even teach him a bit about how to do the same, himself -- except he, most, likely knows that HE is one who do[es]n't respond well under stressful circumstances!

You must remember that when libs talk about banning guns they’re not including themselves. Libs love guns just as much as anyone. Their problem with guns is that you can have them too. Those sitting ducks he’s talking about are you, not him.
