Great News! Americans Don’t Really Care About Climate Change

There is a preventable calamity out there, purportedly the root cause of nearly all wars, refugee crises, sickness, misogyny, terrorism, hunger, poverty, and everything else troubling mankind these days. The world is perpetually on the precipice of catastrophe-- despite all evidence to the contrary -- if we don't act right now. Tomorrow is always too late.

So after being bombarded with this anxiety-ridden dogma for a couple of decades, it's unsurprising that upwards of 75 percent of Americans claim to believe climate change is a problem in need of fixing. And most of them say they are willing to do absolutely anything necessary to stop this impending disaster.

Except carpool.

Or ride a bike.

Or skip a vacation.

According to a new Pew Research Center poll, the percentage of cars that run purely on gas has increased over the past three years. Fewer than three percent of all cars, SUVs, pickup trucks, and light-duty vehicles run on anything other than gas or diesel. The market for heavily-subsidized alternative-fueled vehicles has fallen. After years of subsidizing unproductive sectors and constantly bolstering the idea that inefficient electric cars are the future, no one really wants them. Even the use of hybrid cars is down from 2013.

In 1980, 64 percent of Americans who commuted to work did would do so alone in their car. Today, even after massive publicity effort cajoling people to get out of their cars and billions of dollars spent on public transportation projects like light rail, 74 percent of Americans who commute to work do so alone in a car. The percentage of commuters who carpool has fallen by more than half. There are likely a number reasons contributing to this trend

Liberals love climate change because it provides billions into the pockets of liberal researchers who provide no value added to society, it subsidizes liberal companies who cannot compete in a marketplace, and it coerces governments to adopt irrational socialist schemes that would otherwise be laughed out of existence.

Americans don’t care about global warming because we know liberals are lying about it. It doesn’t exist. They lied about ‘Peak Oil’ ... They’re lying about this. Remember how the world was suppose to be out of oil by 2015?

Living on the Texas Gulf Coast I was thrilled with the global cooling they preached at us back in the 70’s. It didn't happen. So they switched to global warming . That isn't happening either. Wonder what they will come up with next?

It truly is a sense of bafflement that I have on the dhimmis and Gorebal Warming. I said several years ago that the fraud that now goes by the name “climate change” had missed its window of opportunity. Of curse I said the same of the sHrillary ;’)

The worst-kept secret of the universe is that the dhimmis don’t believe in Gorebal warming either. They’ve dragged that carcase around for ages trying desperately to leverage it to seize more power. It has had some successes - none (of course) related to protecting the environment, but all related to protecting their turf.

The EPA now has dictatorial power to ruin anyone any anything it wants. Bureaucrats (invariably dhimmicrats) pursue agenda21 in direct defiance of the population. This article is just the latest in a string of Captain Obvious pieces telling us what we already know - normal people are wise to the scam. They’re not willingly cooperating but they are seeking every opportunity to avoid the deprivations that come with taking the blue pill.

Agree about nuclear power, a full proof test, since about half of Europe generates power that way. Safely.

I remember once upon a time when lots of them did. You know, back when it was the “sciencey” thing to do. And when there were conservatives that had some opposition to nuclear power for both economic (limitless spending and bottomless pockets) and safety reasons (what was then the Chernobyl effect and now is the Fukushima effect).

Seems to me it was the move “China Syndrome” that made hating nuclear “cool” to the left.

I`m an avid bicyclist and, as a form of recreation, I absolutely love it! I feel there is no more soothing and emotionally restorative tonic than a nice leisurely long ride on a good, semi-paved and wooded bike path.

Additionally, as a form of cardio workout, the bike is as rigorous as you wish it to be, low impact and, in my opinion, no where near the 'pain in the a$$' chore as traditional work out regimens, weather permitting, I bike as much as possible. I do absolutely love it, and heartily recommend it to all.

However, I bike for fun and health. When I travel for a purpose, its by gasoline powered conveyance, either four or two wheeled. If the oligarchs and ruling elites want us to bicycle everywhere, they`d better start by abandoning their gasoline limousines and leading the frickin the way!
