Why wish ill will on any country potentially under attack? It is the politicians who are at fault, not the average citizens who take the brunt of the blow.

The “average citizen” in Belgium is busy sucking at the teat of an unsustainable economy and government, which only exists because the outdated NATO is still in effect.
It’s not that I actively wish them ill, but I do want all of Europe’s citizens to climb off of their saddled positions of a deluded existence, shouldered and shielded behind my back, while they gripe about the roughness of the ride, and deride my fellow USA citizens for carrying their worthless weight!
There were reasons my ancestors crossed an ocean to escape from Europe...
