How does one expect to break their will to wage war by blowing up a few trucks that their sponsors can easily replace? They’ll just report back to the depot for a new truck and carry on.

We drop leaflets and the Russians launch Cruise Missiles. Despite our military’s capabilities, the US would be slaughtered by Russia under Barry’s ROE.

The attacking AH-64's and A-10's at the "Highway of Death" loitered and waited, giving the drivers and occupants plenty of time to run away. Most did. The press used some grisly images to make it seem much worse that it was.
George H.W. Bush was affected by the images and the moniker. Thus, the war was quickly called.
