Straw man argument. Christ tells us to render unto Caesar what is Caesar's and unto God what is God's. Paul even expands upon that by exhorting the laeity to be obeient to those in authority over us.

Neither I, nor any other Catholic that I know of, ever swore allegiance to the Pope.

Nor are Catholics running wild world-wide randomly killing Catholics and non-Catholics alike.
