Tender issued for $1.5M contract to winterize temporary housing at CFB Valcartier.
The Canadian Armed Forces are preparing to lodge hundreds of refugees at bases in Quebec and Ontario on a temporary basis as the government prepares to resettle 25,000 refugees by year's end.
The government has yet to say how it intends to meet its goal of resettling thousands in a limited timeframe, but an announcement is expected soon....

This is a real bummer. (I’m 50 minutes from Petawawa).
Whew. When I saw Ontario, I thought it was my neighboring city here in SoCal. I would have had to write Santa for some more weapons.
What could possibly go wrong?
If this keeps up, we’re going to need Trump to build another wall. Maybe he can make the Canadians pay for it, eh?
Do they have to kick out Canadian military families to do this?

Rape, Pillage, and Occupy has been the trend so far in Europe.
No ... I'm familiar with Valcartier home of the Royal Canadian 22nd Regiment (Vandoos). This base is about 15-20 miles north of Quebec City. The barracks that will be used by refugees need to be winterized as the primary use is for reserve units that train during the summer months at Valcartier. The French in Quebec will not tolerate immigrants that are not willing to assimilate into the culture of their province ... if they don't they're gone. Usually to Ontario or western Canada or back to their country of origin..
Don’t worry. That cold weather will get them moving out
as fast as they can. The weather and the forests. They
don’t like trees & are used to balmy weather. - When winter
hangs on & on; that, too, will get their attention. - It
gets cold here, too, although we’re in the South.
While historically this is true, they do seem to be sticking in the Scandanavian countries.
Canada Ping!
