LAX police search for man dressed as pilot near JetBlue flight; New York flight delayed

Los Angeles International Airport police were looking for a man reportedly dressed as a commercial airline pilot who disappeared on the jetway of a New York-bound flight Thursday morning, authorities said.

The incident happened about 6 a.m. in the bridge between Gate 31B at LAX’s Terminal 3 and a JetBlue aircraft preparing to take off to JFK airport in New York, airport officials said.

No. From my understanding it was complete mayhem in the terminal. There was a rumor that one flight that had gone back to the gate in DC or Baltimore that had several Muslims in first class that were unaccounted for after they got to the gate. We also heard rumors of box cutters being found in seat back pockets post 9/11. I don’t know if these rumors are true but, we were hearing all sorts of things.

Wow. Sounds like 9/11 might have been incredibly worse than it was, if more of them had succeeded.

I think I remember reading, Atta sat in the cockpit jump seat in full American Airlines captain’s uniform.

Doesn’t sound right. We fly a lot and airline employees may get priority boarding but not always. They usually get the leftover seats. A lone guy would not be the first one on the flight before the pilots and flight attendants. This smells. Did he have a bag?
