PAUL RYAN TELLS SEAN HANNITY HE WILL NOT SUPPORT ANY CUTS TO MUSLIM IMMIGRATION
Breitbart Big Government ^ | November 19, 2015 | Julia Hahn

Posted on 11/19/2015 7:23:03 AM PST by House Atreides

House Speaker Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI)58% is ruling out making any cuts to Muslim immigration.

In an interview with Sean Hannity on Fox News, Ryan declared that considering an applicant's religion would not be "appropriate" and would be fundamentally un-American---insisting "that's not who we are."

...

Ryan said, in part, that the reason the program could not simply be canceled is because, "We're a compassionate country. The refugees laws are important laws and we don't want terrorists to dictate how we run--whether we have a law or not."

While throughout the interview Ryan seemed to ground his argument on the premise that we cannot apply a religious test as a basis for admissions to the United States, both Rush Limbaugh and Andrew McCarthy have explained how U.S. law does, in fact, require a religious test when it comes to making considerations about visa issuances.

Oh well, there goes the only way the Romney/Ryan ticket would have been better than Obama/Biden.

Ryan's all-in on importing terrorists too.

What is it with our leadership that they are so damned set on the willful destruction of this nation? Do they really think they will be immune to the carnage?

I have news for them. They won't. If the terrorists don't get them, sooner or later a mob of angry Americans will.....

I didn’t think it was possible but the Republicans did it: They found someone who is creepier than Boehner and made him Speaker.

WTFG, GOP!

It is not who we are?

Then we ARE a country that will disregard serious threats to its frightened citizens by allowing un vetted young islamic men into the vulnerable neighborhoods and public events of its people.

Ryan has not yet gotten the memo: We are a nation of laws!

Yes, Mr. President, there is a ‘religious test’ for refugees: The Law Says So :

I think his point was more like we can tie up their immigration in administration tactics. I am not a Ryan apologist inasmuch I think he is Bohner with a brain, but his position is not as being insinuated i.e. in favor of muzzie immigration. He just wants to stop it with requiring security hoops that none can pass because he feels he can get that through Congress more easily than to have a problem with some with the first amendment, IMO.

You don't speak for me, you little weasel - nor do you speak for most of the American people.

Mr Ryan needs to be held accountable for his words...and any actions he may engage in!

Since Ryan has thrown in with the terrorists, he should be treated as such himself. One day, if we get to the peoples’ court stage, Ryan will join a large list of so-called Republicans, who should face justice and listen to the sounds of scaffolds being built outside their cells.

That’s not what that law says. The author of that article misread the statute. You can read the statue yourself (I did) and see. It’s pretty plain.

Who needs to worry about strangers cutting our necks when our own leaders(?) routinely stab us in the back?
