We need another campaign like the 8th air force in WW2. Constant and withering bombing over an extended period coupled with spec ops and wet work in Europe and US.

Saudi Arabia is the head of the snake. Taking out this or that band of jihadis is simply to pick at the snake’s scales. Crush the head of the snake. Grind its skull into a past of flesh, bone and gravel.

"We need another campaign like the 8th air force in WW2." There was a time when the American military broke things and killed our enemies to defend our freedom. The institution now exists as an agent of social change,

Why the hell would the Russians try to stop the killing of ISIS forces? Now toppling Assad, which is the standing order of the global oligarchs and so, the ultimate goal of any US involvement in Syria, that`s another point.
That could and possibly would result in a different outcome. In that case you forgot the all out nuclear exchange. The nuclear winter that follows wouldn`t be very exciting, just boring radioactive ice and snow.

There are times when capacity matters. That's when we need to give the B-52 squadrons some air time.

The Marine general was obviously a reference to General Mattis.

I think it’s great, but why is Marco Rubio President? Unless of course you meant Ted Cruz, (Which I believe you did.)

That was obviously a reference to a President Cruz, not Rubio.
The only point I disagree with is the timing of the ISIS attacks in America; they will occur long before next October.

He was young and usually quite calm, but as a Cuban-American son of immigrants, he understood tyranny and knew how to deal with it. Rubio. Oh barf.

Isaiah 17:1 - Woe to Damascus. It has been taken away from being a city, it has become a ruinous heap.
Hmmmmm ..??
