The best alternative all the way around, nuclear bombs might indeed wipe ISIS off the face of the earth. It would take out several generations, young and old, the Islamic haters who would kill all of US if the had the chance.

No need for nukes. Just let Russia loose as they carpet bomb whole districts. The Russians rules of engagement are simple:

1) Select a radius kill zone.
2) Drop many tons of ordnance on that zone, regardless of who is on the receiving end.
3) Mark a “V”, that area decimated...
4) Move onto next kill zone...
