'I have no problems with the Japanese
American internments during WWII.'
Well we disagree on that one. Dunno if you are a majority.

Japanese (American) internment rode on two unrelated truths:
Long standing & mostly unjustified prejudice, particularly in the western US, and geopolitical conflict between two wannabe hegemons - oh, yeah, and WW2.
No "Syrians" are being interned. Immediately upon being placed into relocation camps they seem determined to relocate to successful non-muslim states, just as muslim states are determined to not take them in as refugees/fellow muslims - oh, yeah, and they are overwhelmingly fighting/beheading age male "widders and arfins" (allusion to the early IRA).
Contra; the only pre-WW2 Jews who advocated radical change to America were the same socialist drones who lost just about everything as soon as their cause took hold - Oh, yeah, and became University professors & democrat philosophers, and anti-Zionists just as soon as the danger had passed (slow learners).
Luis Gutierrez is a race pimp without a legitimate race to offer. He must defend islamist infiltration in order to uphold his rabid campaign for free Mexican infiltration - Oh, yeah, both of his pet projects are properly defined as invasion rather than migration/resettlement.
