I'll ask that which must not be asked. Is Obama planning to eliminate the House and Senate?

The massive resettlement of Syrians without adequate screening is insanity. Or is it? The massacre in Paris shows that despite strict controls on guns, radical Islamists are well funded and organized, and can easily obtain explosives and automatic weapons, and maybe Obama is counting on that. Do the members of the House and Senate understand that they are the crown jewel of radical Islamist massacre goals? Do even the liberal Democrats who support the importation of the Syrian "combat age" refugees understand that in such an attack, that they would be slaughtered along with conservatives? And if such an attack were accomplished, would not Obama have his perfect excuse to impose martial law, and ban the ownership of firearms? Is he capable of such treachery? Just remember Fast & Furious if you have doubts!
