You can go get a laser treatment for about half that amount and usually one treatment cures the problem. Like other drugs, the Jublia people should be made to tell the truth about the true cost of the treatment and the success of it, which is also less that that of the laser.

Just paint your toes nice and wet with paint thinner or automotive solvent... It'll be gone in a week. Then go barefoot as much as possible - Fungus doesn't like air.

Obvious solution is make the patient pay cash. But now it is seen as FREE. Do you realize how much Medicaid and Medicare money is spent because patients think everything is FREE?

Solution? Government puts medicare/medicaid money in HSA, not in United Healthcare,Anthem, etc.

It was illegal for prescription drug ads to be on TV. Lawyer, doctor ads too.

I think they were allowed to make up for the lost revenue when cigarette ads were banned.

Bought off, and the medical insurance companies too.

Oh yeah. The medical insurance companies were bought off big-time. The executives at the top are the ones they bought off. They all got on board.

They basically blocked competition and made it to where they will be able to charge what they want.

They definitely shouldn’t show them during sporting events when kids are watching.

AMA is bought and paid for too. The dems have a way of using our money to pay off their targets.

As a pharmacist I agree totally with their sentiment and motive. As a libertarian I am 100% against this. I do not support their actions.

I agree with you on both counts.

I keep asking when it became a “thing” to talk about this in public, but if people are going to put them on TV, it’s the government’s job to protect us from fraud, not from bad taste.

That is interesting about the other use of Cialis. I (female) was prescribed Viagra for fertility: there are suppositories of it that can increase your uterine lining to help prepare for pregnancy.

I remember when lawyers and prescription meds could not be advertised in the mass media. I cannot come up with a great reason to uphold the ban (though it had been going on for a LONG time), but it was a better world then.

Old people tend to be more conservative that the Millennials. Old people are also more dependent on prescription drugs to stay alive (or just feel better). Instead of using “Death Panels” to get rid of old folks, the new Obamabot plan is to make prescription drugs harder to obtain.

Yeah, and I don’t really want to see people peeing their pants everywhere on tv, either. I’m glad there are products to help, but please. There have been menstrual products advertised on tv my whole life but they didn’t show a woman complaining that she was bleeding through.

I do think that most of the drugs advertised have a negative effect. It’s for heartburn, but it can cause heart attack, stroke, or sudden death. I’ll stick with the heartburn.

I thought Cialis made Bathtubs like Kohler does.

I was wondering how you could have so many Side Effects from just taking a Bath.

I liked the old days when drug manufacturers gave Doctors free samples. Then Doctors gave me free meds to see if they’re going to work. Now you’ll get stuck with a prescription of medicine that you don’t like.

We were watching a TV show the other night, and 80% of the ads were for drugs.....................

I have always thought it unhealthy to have prescription drug advertisements on TV.

I don't understand why it's done, especially for, say, a drug I've seen heavily advertised for blind people that have sleep disruption. How many blind people are out there to sell this drug to? It makes no sense, to me, in a money-making venture like selling drugs why you would spend millions and millions of advertising dollars on a drug for a small demographic.

If anyone knows why the pharmaceutical companies would do this, would you please respond?

The very simple cure for toenail fungus is to put a drop of vinegar on the base of your toenails (where the cuticle is) twice a day, morning and evening and give it a minute to dry. In six weeks you will see the first signs of clear fungus-free nails growing out. I cured my husband’s disgusting toenail fungus with this simple, practically free method. It’s not quick, but it works like a charm.
