I was in the Cold War on an SSBN and SSN. It wasn’t WW3. I’ve been present when we danced with a Soviet SSN for the better part of a day. We had firing solutions plotted, the fire control computer set, fingers on the buttons to open the outer doors and shoot. But, we didn’t and neither did they.

WW3 is certainly the civilized world vs the muslim barbarians. It will involve the whole world.
