I’m so worried that one of the lefties on the Court will retire before Obama leaves office. If Ruth doesn’t leave in the next year . . do you really think she’ll last four years beyond that?
No, I don't think she would last five more years. I bet the Dims will start pressuring her to retire next year because she's had health problems. Breyer is 77, but I don't know about his health. The other two women are pretty young as far as justices go.
Since the Republicans control the Senate, they could "Bork" Obama nominees, especially late next year, but who knows if there are yet enough Republicans with a spine to vote down a nominee in the Judiciary Committee.
Just pray that all the conservatives remain in good health.
