You jest, but how many times has this already happened, leaving the gun owner to fight to get their firearms back? It happens a lot more often than we think it does, and that's my point. There will never be a "trigger event" where they come for everyone's guns. They know better than to do that, because that would indeed unleash holy hell. Better to keep it quiet, with the appearance of legality. Those awaiting the chance to fight back when "they come for the guns" are gonna be waiting a long time.
