You can’t debate using a teleprompter.
The teleprompter writers cannot get the relevant arguments up on the scroll quickly enough. Leads to a lot of hesitations, and “UM....” and “Ah...like I already explained before...” to burn up the time until an even half-way comprehensible response gets put up. And even then, it comes out lame, as the teleprompter-writers are not much more quick of wit than the Current Occupant.
