ANDERSON COUNTY, TX — Six people were killed at a Texas campsite and a suspect has been arrested and charged in the weekend homicides, authorities said Monday.
Anderson County Sheriff Greg Taylor said the bodies were found in rural Anderson County, southeast of Dallas.
William Hudson, 33, is charged with one murder count and is being held on $2.5 million bond. It was not immediately clear whether he had an attorney who could comment on the allegations.
Authorities have not yet revealed a motive for the slayings or said how the people were killed. They also haven’t released the victims’ names and ages.
The bodies of a man and a woman were found Sunday in a travel trailer at a campsite next to the suspect’s residence, according to the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office. Four males initially thought missing were found dead Monday afternoon in a pond on the suspect’s property.
One woman survived.
They mentioned it on the local news tonight about ten words and concluded with “no additional details are available”. Really, really weird.

Were these “alleged” murders? Did all six die of injuries in the fracas?

Odd, I talked to a guy I know down in the Palestine area on Monday afternoon and he had not mentioned anything. Looking online it says the camp was between Harmony and Tennessee Colony.
I am in Brazos County and didn’t know of the crime. It hasn’t been in the papers around here that I know of.
Oh, I thought it was Anderson, Texas, a little town close by.
There’s an article about it on FOXNEWS.com. The wife managed to hide, then escaped to call 911. The guy had been arrested last week for some kind of assault I believe, but nothing as bad as this.

Half of the victims are young children! I don’t know why you’d set any kind of bail amount for a person you thought killed 6 people.
Well, it’s Texas so he’ll probably be executed but I suppose that’s cold comfort to the families.
