Make way for Generation Z.

Thirteen-year-old Hallie Turner of Raleigh, North Carolina, is filing a lawsuit against her home state, Al Jazeera reported Friday. The suit demands the state adhere to 4% annual deductions in carbon dioxide emissions.

"I was [in] about third or fourth grade when the issue of climate change just came up at a dinner table conversation, and I had never really heard about it and I wanted to find out more about it," Turner told a local news reporter in a video posted Friday to Twitter. "I read Al Gore's book, An Inconvenient Truth, and that just insanely inspired me and opened my eyes to how big of an issue it was, and immediately after reading that I was amazed at how apathetic people were towards the issue."

There is no such thing as climate change science.

But there are climate change lawsuits.

From the article...
“I read Al Gore’s book,”

There’s the problem right there

How can a 13 year old file a lawsuit about anything, not being of legal age?

Are her parents if she has two heterosexual married parents, the ones who are really behind this?

Assuming she has these parents, are they liberal???

Apprently she hasn’t educated herself enough to find out the truth.

Bad parenting stories shouldn’t make national/regional news but if she wants to play with the big boys she will get the same treatment.

Dear Hattie,

When I was your age my teachers had us scared to death of the coming ice age. When I was a little bit older, we were killing the planet with hair spray.

I hope you grow up some day to realize that your teachers and parents have been scaring you on purpose with lies.

I thought “Standing” was a big issue when it comes to lawsuits. What is her “Standing”?

Did you spot the problem? In the South it's supper. These must be "half-backs."

I hope she never gets her mitts on a copy of Mein Kampf or the Communist Manifesto. We don’t need another Hitler or Stalin running around out there. We’ve got our hands full with the Islamoterrorists.

The suit demands the state adhere to 4% annual deductions in carbon dioxide emissions.

I didn't see what the context of the word "deductions" was in the lawsuit but it makes zero sense here. Should be "reductions." Stupid Yahoo reporter probably.

Perhaps not a bad thing. Discovery might flush out NOAA’s unreleased internal communications, and who knows what else.

And then we were killing the earth with the refrigerant in our air conditioners, so there was a massive push by law to switch to the ‘harmless’ refrigerant in every car, refrigerator, air conditioner etc in the US!

Recently, that new refrigerant was deemed an evil earth killer and now we have yet another refrigerant which needs a whole new a/c system by law. I think it only affects home a/c at the moment but it still sucks. Hmmmm...maybe we arenet saving the world, maybe we are just being scammed.
