We don’t have border patrols between individual states. We don’t check *papers* of individuals as they cross state lines.

How would any one state enforce a no immigration stance? Not talking over the top rhetoric ... asking a straight question. How would immigration enforcement be handled between states who say yea and states who say nay?

Because the actual details of refugee resettlement get handled by what are basically state based and funded organization. And more practically, from a political point of view, because Governors are politicians and they, even the Democratic ones, don't want to end up being the guy or gal who hosted somebody who turns out to be a terrorist.

I would play nice and ask the Feds to provide details (arrival times and places ) of the refugees. Then I would have the State Police escort them to a chartered plane to fly them back to their last country of departure. And confiscate their US Visas.
