“The 1,900 are a tiny fraction of the 200,000 living near Syria who have been approved for resettlement in the United States. “
I don’t dare post what I am thinking.

I appreciate so many governors taking a stand against taking in these islamists, but how exactly will they keep them out. There is no border control between states, and once they are made legal residents by the fed, how will they be stopped from going across state lines?

They tried that with “immigrants”.
The local sheriff has the RESPONSIBILITY to stand up to the feds forcing things like this on his constituents.

They’ve long passed the point of governing at the consent of the governed.

200,000???
Then there are the zillion Muslims that aren’t refugees. The schools here in South Alabama are increasingly populated by them. And they have chips on their shoulders about how the Caucasian world is showing such support for Paris but not for this place and that place. (Muslim-populated areas)

Yes they can! Simply refuse to let them deplane (or deboard whatever mode of transportation). Ignore the federal traitors.

This thread compels constant attention.
If cities can ignore federal laws (San Francisco) what prevents States from doing likewise?

How would immigration enforcement be handled between states who say yea and states who say nay? Because the actual details of refugee resettlement get handled by what are basically state based and funded organization. And more practically, from a political point of view, because Governors are politicians and they, even the Democratic ones, don't want to end up being the guy or gal who hosted somebody who turns out to be a terrorist.

How about a bill that requires an identified official by name and signature to certify "no problems" and makes those vetting officials and administration facilitators personally responsible for crimes committed by these "vetted' refugees. The injured party should be given license to sue the person(s) signing off on the refugee.

I would resist state by state and use the courts one by to force action putting the onus squarely on the administration for each migrant. Secondly, I would set up a website and post pictures and location of each Islamic migrant so neighbors can be informed.

After the events in Paris on 11/13, I will be adding
this to my posts for the next week. I'm certain our
turn is coming again soon. We stand united against
Islamic extremists.

An honorable mention also goes out to Lassana Bathily , a Muslim immigrant from Mali.
Mr. Bathily sheltered customers at the Jewish Deli and helped police by providing info
on the terrorists, and providing the location of survivors in the deli.
