I agree with the main point of the article, but as the old saying goes, people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. The American people are no different than the French. After three thousand, not 130, were killed on our shores, it was just a very short time before half the American population took every opportunity to undermine the war effort. It was American citizens who made movies that made heroes of prisoners in Guantanamo. It was American citizens who blew Abu Ghraib, an insignificant incident already being rectified by the military, all out of proportion. It was American citizens, including a present GOP Presidential contender, who bemoaned the killing of Awlaki, a member of Al Qaeda. It is American citizens who put maudlin commercials on the TV about Wounded Warriors that can only undermine the will to fight. If those commercials were included in newsreels circa 1943, the producers of them would have been jailed. Lets get rid of our leftist traitors, and yellow ribboned defeatists before we point fingers at others.
