Governor Robert Bentley on Sunday announced he is refusing Syrian refugees relocating to Alabama.

"After full consideration of this weekend's attacks of terror on innocent citizens in Paris, I will oppose any attempt to relocate Syrian refugees to Alabama through the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program. As your Governor, I will not stand complicit to a policy that places the citizens of Alabama in harm's way," Governor Robert Bentley said.

The governors who are listening to their citizens' concerns on this issue don't have much that they can do to stop the Feds. Of course, they could direct the state AG to go after the partner organizations that are complicit. If Catholic Charities (or whichever - they're listed on the DHH.gov website) is registered to do business in that state, suspend their charter. Find a reason to investigate them and make it impossible for them to function.

There are many, many state laws and code articles which deal with corporations, partnerships, LLCs and so on. Be creative. And get moving NOW, it isn't just the Syrian refugees. We're about to get hit with another surge of "children" fleeing I'll-defined "violence" in Central America and Mexico. The "charity" pipeline needs to be hammered shut.

If Jindal is your Governor, do what I just did! I just contacted Governor Scott by email and made a phone call to ask him to follow Governor Bentley and refuse to allow ANY refugees into our Sunshine State!

I am doing a Florida Freeper Ping here, asking them to join me and contact Governor Scott and get all their family members and friends to do the same.

I think ALL Governors should stand up like Governor Bentley did and say NO. Let the DEM Governors say YES to Obama if they want, but lets make ALL the Governors take a stand so their citizens will know EXACTLY where their Governor cares about keeping them safe!

It is clear to anyone who cares to understand the Muslim faith that it is a warlike belief system.
As a local business owner I am deeply disturbed by the suicidal policies of our president and many governors to welcome jihadi Muslims into our communities while systematically refusing to welcome oppressed Christians the same courtesy.
Christians in Syria, Iraq and much of Africa are given a death sentence by our state dept.Terrorists are welcomed to our shores to bring their zealotry and Shariah law.

Thanks so much for posting your map from the Texas Thread.

Its easier if we could keep one thread going on action to get ALL state Governors to make a stand. Thought we could use this thread since Alabama was the first Governor to take a stand as far as I know. Then Michigan and now Texas.

We Floridians are taking action with calls and emails to Governor Scott and waiting for him to step up and take the right action by saying NO to Ovomit, Hillary, Bernie and O’Malley and their terrorist loving friends!

Lets just see and put on RECORD the Governors that side with Ovomit and those who side with protecting their citizens!
