Well, okay, POTUS is refusing to acknowledge the reality, but how about anyone else?

Silly you. The San Jose Mercury informed me in the editorial this morning that we are at war with TERRORISM. I didn't read a single thing about Islam.

As I recall, a couple days after 9/11 when Congressional leaders were gathered on the steps of the Capitol, there was a congressman (I remember it was Virgil Goode, but I can’t find a reference to it) who stated simply, concerning the islamists who attacked us, “They want to eradicate us. We need to eradicate them first!”
That remains the best summary I’ve heard of the situation.
