I don't think Mr. Bergoglio fancies himself as being a prophet (even though any child of God can indeed prophesy).
Neither does Bergoglio present himself as being a prophet.

although having a potentially shocking headline (as if the end may be right around the corner?) is not in other ways inaccurate --- and beyond this one article at brietbart, the end MAY be nearer than many would think.
Try reading the article, read it carefully ---then tell me--- that you have not heard much the same from evangelical preachers.
I've been hearing this same sermon pretty much all my life (even before I began attending church!).
