For the second time this year France's Muslims have seen carnage brought to the streets of Paris by a few radical Islamists and fear that they will now suffer as a consequence.

The shocking wave of violence on Friday, when heavily armed militants killed 129 people and injured 352 in attacks at a concert hall, bars and a stadium, immediately turned the spotlight on Europe's largest Muslim minority.

They should run out in the street and stick their butts in the air. Or burn a few cars...

Exactly correct, in fact integrated people have no reason to fear anything. They look as french as the next person. Paris is a city unlike other European cities, Parisians are just that...Parisians. They aren’t necessarily white... I would have no way of knowing “who” is a muslim if they are dressed like a westerner. French themselves, can be of more Mediterranean extraction or more Northern in looks. I know Africans from French speaking countries, who live in Paris and no one treats them anything but french.. because they have indeed become French.

Speak for yourself. The few dozen times I visited Paris between 1970 and 1993 I has no problem recognizing the animals.

Neither did my daughter, who visited Paris every year by herself when she was 8, And who spent her Junior Year attending Paris V at the Sorbonne, and who amused herself by devastating young male socialists in debates. Her French was flawless.

Hell, even the dogs I met in Paris and its suburbs instantly recognized muslims...
Specially an Alsatian by the name of "Sarah..." But that's another story.

They should probably just go home where they would be more “comfortable.”

Absolutely!

They can have all the "SAFE ZONE" that they can handle.

A FEW radical islamists? Hell that's like saying you can eat just one Lays potato chip!

Well as I believe it was Cuomo who once said a few years ago, if "only 15%* of the animals are active killers, that would be 300,000,000 savage killers worldwide.

* Low estimate. Polls and surveys made by the animals themselves have confirmed over and over, for the last 40 years, that between 15 and 20% of all muslims support the actions of the terrorists.

You missed my point.... the integrated muslims are not readily recognized. The ones who consider themselves French first... not those from the Banlieu who are muslim first and wear it as a badge of honor and separation.

If I handed you a bowl of M & M’s (or whatever you like) but told that that 5% were poisoned how many would you eat?

With Muslim Mass Murderers ( M&M&Ms ) the figure is closer to at least 15%.

That's 300,000,000 worldwide!

You missed my point.... the integrated muslims are not readily recognized.

And you missed MY point. THERE ARE no integrated muslims in France. Certainly not in Paris!

I could give you a ton of examples, but it would take too long.

Being muslim, anywhere, and integrated, is a contradiction in terms.

You really haven't made a good study of islam, historic and contemporary, have you.

If you don’t police yourselves, you will BE policed ... and you won’t like it.

Muzzies need to police themselves.

Muzzies DON’T police themselves. This failure tells me that they’re all in on it.

Thanks for the great graphic.

I have granddaughter wanting to do a year abroad next school year.

Info like this would really help.

A few years ago her plans would not have concerned me——now it terrifies me——but the kids have to figure things out themselves.

My first trip to Paris was in 1969. I met with my future wife's family, which was scattered around France and Spain.

I have always been an avid amateur photographer. On my 1973 trip to Paris, I walked the entire city, and after visiting the Sorbonne area, I found myself in a neighborhood plastered with dozens of "Nixon go Home!" spray painted signs of buildings and walls, and tons of Arabic graffiti. I had wandered into the biggest muslim neighborhood in Paris. When I got home my bother-in-law actually blanched when I showed him the dozens of photographs of the place.

A few years later, I was walking with him from the Place de la Concorde to the Tour Eiffel when I spotted an armored vehicle, surrounded by baklava-wearing military clad all in black military types and I said "Cool, I want to go over and take some pics. They were all toting small submachine guns and wired for sound.

MY BIL jumped on me and yanked me back, telling me in Spanish, our only common language at the time, "Don't f*** with those guys! They shoot first and ask questions later!"

That was my introduction to the GIGN.*

"The GIGN, or in English the National Gendarmerie Intervention Group, is France's premier military counter-terror and hostage rescue unit, originally formed in 1973 following the hostage crisis in Munich. GIGN belongs to a part of the French military known as the National Gendarmerie, which has no precise counterpart in the military branches here in the United States.

"With roots going back to the Middle Ages, the National Gendarmerie is a force focused primarily on internal security and order. Its present form is something akin to a militarized version of America's Department of Homeland Security, with some additional FBI-like responsibilities, as well as some of the roles of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police."

Unfortunately, for a variety of reasons, 1993 was my last trip to France/Spain/England. A lot has changed since then. Apparently for the worse. Where abroad is your daughter considering?

France is my most familiar experience, with a bit less in Provence and Normandy. My experience in England was just a week.

“Where abroad is your daughter considering?”

It’s a granddaughter-—but anyplace in Western Europe would be considered-—she’s never been to Europe,

My last visit to London in 2000 I rode on The Tube and rarely heard English spoken.

What a wake-up call that was.

I have spent a bit of time in France, most recently two months ago... I disagree. The same goes for many other European countries... there are muslims whom I could not distinguish from other nationals.
Unless your point is that a “real” muslim needs to be quite orthodox or basically a fundamentalist.

Particularly those who are second or third generation... of course it is also “class” driven. The educated often give their children first names that are french, Italian or German depending on which country they live. The girls certainly do not wear hijab and many are barely religious, very liberal,as is most of Europe.
