Humanity is the human race, which includes everyone on Earth. It’s also a word for the qualities that make us human, such as the ability to love and have compassion, be creative, and not be a robot or alien.

Humanity has not changed. Culture changes and there are many cultures around the globe, some good and some bad. I believe in universal values and objective truth,

As for the rest of what you wrote, I have no idea what you're talking about, as I have said nothing in this thread about laws or rights.

I suspected that to be the case given what you have written, i.e., you have no idea what I am talking about. Anyone who chooses the name Trailerpark Badass isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer.

So masculinity in your world consists of drooling over two women beating the snot out of each other?

“The Olympics are now completely politically correct.”

Tolerance of PC is cowardice, and cowardice, left unchecked, will destroy Western civilization.

My masculinity is not threatened by women who want to work in the entertainment field and earn lots of money. They compete in the marketplace. If they have sufficient skill levels in the field of UFC, more power to them. The Rousey-Holm headlined the fight card that included both men and women fights. It set all kinds of records in Melbourne. It was a roaring commercial success.

I haven’t disputed any of those points, nor have I speciously linked this spectacle to a question of masculinity. I have no doubt the “games” in the Colliseum were roaring commercial successes too. But I believe Rome was in its decadent phase at that point. And maybe there’s a parallel to our own culture ... or lack thereof.

All over the country, millions are just now starting to watch men batter there brains into neurological defict for entertainment.

i guess you missed seeing all the armor worn by those same men, to attempt to minimize the occurrence of neurological ‘deficts’...

The attendence for UFC 193 (at Etihad Stadium) was 56,000+; the Coliseum's seating capacity was around 50,000.

Eerie.

Maybe the next time around, they could feed the loser to wild animals. You know, see them torn to pieces by lions or tigers? Wouldn’t that be cool?

Now that would be just too much, barbarian!

of course, if thousands of people were willing to spend the money to see it...
