They’re all the same. It started out as ISIS for Iraq and Syria but that didn’t include other areas so it was changed to ISIL, the Levant to include everywhere.

That then changed to IS, simply the Islamic State. Then it changed again to Daesch pronounced Dash and I understand also includes other terrorist organizations.

I think you can trace the beginnings of isis/isil back to Sadaams' Republican Guard in Iraq. From what I heard they began there and along the way Baghdaddi took over and as the leader and the rest is history.

For a while I think they were cia U.S favs and then fell out of love with us or vice versa.

One reason zero won't go after them,yet another clusterfork.

Its kind of murky as to whether they are still US pawns or not.
