Islamic terrorism started in the 1960s but it was mostly concentrated in Europe. That’s within 20 years after they started being imported to Europe as cheap labor to re-build it on the cheap with the expectation that they would return to their countries of origin.
The Europeons did fight terrorism back then, but they kept on importing it by the boatload. We got involved in it when we went to Lebanon in the 1980s under Reagan when Lebanon invited us to help stop the Muzzies there during their civil war. After the Marines’ barracks were bombed, killing about 250 Marines, we turned tail and ran.
The only nation to consistently fight the Muzzies is Israel.
Hillary’s in a tough place. She wants to sound tough on terrorism and she did vote for the Iraq War after 9-11, but liberals, which are her base, HATE the Iraq War. They blame all terrorists attacks, including yesterday’s, on GWB’s invasion of Iraq. Liberals want us totally out of the Middle East. I don’t see how Hillary threads the needle on this one.
