Not looking for a food fight, although I dearly love French pastries. However, the preponderance of articles I've read indicate The EU has very restrictive gun laws, and France in particular. Some police units unarmed in Paris, as we saw on TV during the Charlei Hebdo massacre.

At one time, most Europeans were forbidden to own weapons of a caliber identical to military weapons. i.e. 9MM. 7.62MM. 5.56MM, etc. Not sure if still true.

Unfortunately, Paris is a hub of the illegal arms trade industry. AKs (Full auto) go for $1100-$1500.

You’re right, but the prices are even sometimes cheaper from what I understand. France has strict laws on automatic weapons and military calibers, but not nearly as awful as England. There are about thirty arms per 100 people in France which ranks them pretty high (Higher than Canada) in the World Ranking.By comparison, England has around 6 per one hundred people.

I love French pastries too. Who doesn’t. Just returned from 4 months in France. Nice to be home.
