I can spell quite well, thank you very much. Nothing makes my teeth itch quite like words misspelled. Unfortunately, I type on these horrific little I-Phone virtual keyboards, and my spelling errors are always a result of my big thumbs not quite connecting with the proper key. In answer to your question, yes I am real, and my sense of humor tends to delve into the dark and ironic, which seemed to go over your head.
