Trump and Carson are both losing credibility as potential voters get more exposed to them. Long-term, I suspect they are both on a bell-shaped trajectory. Cruz stands to gain the most.

Cruz can’t connect to the average voter. He may be the smartest and most articulate of all, but his base of support is very narrow.

100% correct. And I’m a Trump/Cruz ticket advocate.

I like Cruz and Trump because they fight for what they believe. As far as the rest, Rubio, Bush, Kasich, Fiorina, and Carson they are simply going to follow the dictates of the establishment GOPe. I thought Carson may be different but is recent comments on immigration and when he was at Ferguson made be abandon him as a person I could support.

Trump will remain viable as long as Bush stays in the race.
