Must be something else going on.

Hmmmmmmm. Let's brainstorm this.

Now what in the world could be going on in somebody's life that he or she would find it necessary to break into somebody else's home and steal their stuff?

Oh! Right! To support their yard sale habit!

Correlation neither proves nor disproves causation. There could be any number of factors that are common to both. Sanctuary city, Liberal revolving door justice system. Influx of "black live matter aholes" etc.

I make a very good living doing statistics and I gotta tell you, you and the other people who think this is some sort of proof are totally barking up the wrong tree.
