That was kind of painful. I'm am a Trump supporter, but this is either a master-stroke or a jump-the-shark moment.

The audience wasn't really into it, and he called the voters of Iowa idiots.

Actually, his supporters know that he is NOT calling Iowans and Americans idiots (remember, he included the entire country in that accusation).

He was referring to supporters of Ben Carson--calling them idiots for not taking a long hard look at what Carson has said in his book.

What Trump is saying in straight, unvarnished language is this: if it is true that Carson is hiding a violent pathology (Carson own words), he is basically insane. And if he is lying...well, he's a liar.

Either way, should this man be elected leader of the free world.
