Another take.

That was a very clever move on Trump’s part. He didn’t actually say Carson was a child molester, but he said the two words practically within the same breath, creating an assumed connection. Now while everyone is howling, he can honestly say, ‘that’s not what I said. Watch the video play back. That’s not what I said’. But everyone clearly heard what he said, even when he didn’t say it. He has the attention focused on him again and he has plausible deniability. I have to give him credit for that. I didn’t know he was that smart.

So you’re going back to your position of Trump being..what was it...a man with every virtue of the great commanders with none of their vices...a man without wrong...a Caesar with no ambition...a Washington without reward? As gentle as a woman and pure as a virgin?

It’s time to wake up, quit with the quasi-religious worshipful keening hymns to the man and understand the reality that he isn’t Presidential material.

"Objection, Your honor!"

"Sustained. The jury is instructed to ignore the witness's remark."

The only people who don't realize how smart Trump is are people who aren't as smart as he is. Many of us who have dug deep into his resume and background and watched most of his rally speeches are getting bored by now with the repetition in the speeches. But he has learned over the years how many times you have to repeat new information to the mid- to low-info voters before they start to get it.
