Ronald Reagan said stern things, but he was a gentleman always. He would never have stooped to gross attacks on his opponent, a Christian man. Policy is fair game.
Show me one stump speech where Reagan stuck out his belt buckle and asked someone to knife it. Show me where he called his opponent pathological, like a child molester. Would Reagan have called Iowa voters stupid?
I never said Carson should be president, or that he was my favorite. But I'm pointing out how unwise it is for Trump to continue these scathing personal attacks on a good man.
