I’m taking the 20th off to take my Mom to an appointment. Maybe that time, during the day, will handle most of the normal “when I get home from work” issues and I can be around a little more in the evening.

Are you getting closer to being able to bring MIL nearer to you?

I hope your mom is ok. Is it a routine appointment?

We can’t get her here till she can sit in a car or another vehicle. As far as we know right now....till we see for ourselves....she still has to sit in a wheelchair with her legs straight out. Bless her heart. I know she has to be so tired of that......and she hates sleeping on her back though she doesn’t complain. She did say that her knee seems less swollen and the doc can verify that when she sees him on the 23rd. We’ll probably stay at her house because it’s close to the rehab and she has no wifi.

We hope to at least spend some time with the kids. They live 20+ miles away so we will try to stay for several daylight hours whenever it’s convenient. Piper has school at the house and we don’t want to disrupt the routine too much. We’ll play it by ear. :)
