“Cruz is by far the best candidate available. His stance on H1B has not changed; it has been misrepresented.”

That’s wishful thinking on your part. In the interview with Ingraham, he admits he supported the program.

Someone who evolves their position toward free market policies and the rule of law isn’t a bad thing.

I thought his support was qualified; I don’t remember the details now - but his support was predicated on opposing something the Democrats were up to - I can’t remember the specifics, but I remember reading his account and it made a lot of sense.

The more I see, hear and read of Cruz, the more I like him. I am long past the age when I consider politicians to have even the potential for heroism - but Cruz is more consistently conservative than any of the others. He has taken very public stands against not just the communist left, but also the establishment GOP. When Washington insiders sneer: “He doesn’t have any friends in the Senate,” I consider that a plus.

Usually, the more I see and hear a pol, the less I like them; with Cruz, it is the opposite.

That's probably why he closes well, come election time.

I just saw his “Princess Bride” re-enactment on YouTube... pretty funny.

It's remarkable how flexible someone's philosophy can be when he's in the midst of a competitive presidential race.

Yup .. Cruz's conversation is a few decades late.

Back in 2001 more 'guest worker' were imported than IT jobs created. Back in the late 90's and early 2000's companies were forcing employees to train their replacements as a condition of getting severance. When I say train, I mean IT 101.
