Here is what I favor: A huge wall, no matter what it costs. Employer penalties that hurt so bad they can bankrupt a business if they hire illegals. Deportation and incarceration for people who are deported and come back. And finally asset seizure for illegals. Seizing assets from them will cause mass self deportation with 6 months of fair notice.

Not keen on penalizing biz, the blame and hurt should be on GOVT (say, remove all per diems, pay and retirement for any politician that DOESN’T do their job instead?)
