Student protesters at the University of Missouri asked white supporters to leave Wednesday night in order to create a "black only healing space."
Steve Schmidt, an activist who was at the protest, tweeted that Concerned Student 1950 group were "asking white allies to leave."

Prominent Black Lives Matter activist Johnetta Elzie seemingly confirmed those with Caucasian skin were asked to leave the area, tweeting that the group had created a "black only healing space for the students to share, decompress, be vulnerable & real."

Mark Kim, another reporter for KOMU who was at the scene, told TheBlaze that he spoke with some people around the area and confirmed white individuals had formed a separate group upstairs.
"White allies are upstairs in their own breakout group," he said in a tweet.

People in MO must be thrilled about all the attention their university is getting. Just spell the name of the institution right, and the publicity will take the people to new heights. They could create a “Trayvon Martin Healing Space” on campus, with a “Hands Up, Don’t Shoot” exhibit.
