Clinton: Trump's deportation plan is 'absurd, inhumane and un-American'

Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton slammed GOP rival Donald Trump on Wednesday for his latest remarks about illegal immigration.

"The idea of tracking down and deporting 11 million people is absurd, inhumane, and un-American. No, Trump," Clinton wrote on Twitter.

Clinton's comment came after Trump suggested during an interview on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" earlier Wednesday that he would support a "deportation force." "We have to do what we have to do," Trump said. "Other people have done it.

"You're going to have a deportation force. You're going to do it humanely," Trump said, when pressed about how he would deport people who are in the U.S. illegally.

Other candidates took a different tact during the fourth Republican presidential debate Tuesday night, including Ohio Gov. John Kasich, who called Trump's deportation proposal "silly."

"We all know you can't pick them up and ship them... back across the border," Kasich said. "It's a silly argument. It is not an adult argument. It makes no sense."

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush also took a different approach to illegal immigration, while Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) stayed out of the discussion until Wednesday.

On Fox I saw a chant of how great Marco Rubio is. I would bet this was already decided ahead of the debate. No, he did not do well. He was slick and robot like and dangerously wrong on immigration. Rubio won’t even carry out his Senate position properly, who would he handle being President.

Can't track down and deport millions in our country illegally? An American can have 10 year old traffic infraction that was forgotten and not paid, and they have no problem tracking down, jailing and punishing the offender years later.

I can be over drawn .10 cents and the banks will know it 2000 miles away. Try not paying a $100. in taxes or fines and see if they can't eventually track you down.

If those in government can't even figure out who's legal and who is in the country illegally, they has no damn business being involved in government.

Trump does not need a deportation force. If e-verify is enforced and illegals are prevented from collecting gubmint handouts the illegals will go home. They don’t have to pay a smuggler to get to the border and they do not need U.S. passport or visa to walk through the gate back into Mexico. Greyhound Bus offers low cost one way fares to Tijuana and other Mexican border cities.

You don’t meet people who have self deported on this side of the border. I live near the border and go across the border into Mexico frequently. I have met many Mexicans there who have self deported, mostly from Los Angeles.

Nice thought but that’ll never happen. We—you and I, all of us—are subsidizing the cheap labor express and their maids, pool cleaners, lawn care guys, roofers, etc., with free stuff.

Find them and deport them. It’s not brain surgery.
Then find out who their employers are and fine them.
In 1959, it took Eisenhower all of three months.

They don’t want the border enforced because they need a steady stream of docile, hard working slaves.

But the RINOs and Democrats can make their own damned beds or pay Americans a fair price to clean their pools and mow their lawns. I’m tired of subsidizing the lifestyles of the rich & famous and the free healthcare, `three hots & a cot’ lifestyles of the poor & dangerous.
